Two Violet men have been booked with burglary and a third with possession of stolen property involving $7,000 worth of shotguns and other hunting items stolen ftom a camp, but now recovered, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.

The investigation is continuing and other arrests are possible, the sheriff said.

Hank Doherty, 19, and Lee Gonzales, 22, both of whom listed their address as the 2000 block of Repose Drive, were booked recently with simple burglary of the camp in eastern St. Bernard Parish.

The break-in took place in late October.

Branden Angelety, 34, 6505 Fourth St., was booked Nov. 18 with possession of stolen property, an item stolen in the burglary.

Five shotguns, ammunition, numerous decoys and a hunting outfit, with a total value of about $7,000, were stolen and recovered, the sheriff said.

Doherty is being held in St. Bernard Parish Prison in lieu of bond set at $22,500, Gonzalez was released on $10,000 bond and Angelety was released on $1,500 bond.
