Mia Gex, who had previously been reported missing, was recovered on Saturday, August 14, and was placed in the care of a family member. On Sunday, August 15, she ran away from that family member’s Mandeville- area home. She is believed to be in St. Bernard Parish with her non-custodial biological mother and/or mother’s family. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mia is asked to contact Detective Fishel at 985-726-7830 or 985-898-2338.
