On Wednesday, July 15, 2015, deputies from the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of an attempted simple robbery at a local fruit stand located at 2913 Paris Road, Chalmette. Upon arriving, deputies learned that a male subject had just attempted to rob the proprietor of the business and had just fled the scene.
