St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office issues arrest warrant for New Orleans man, searching for four other suspects in connection with two business burglaries

The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office has issued an arrest warrant for a New Orleans man and is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating four other suspects wanted in connection with two business burglaries which took place in the early morning hours of Monday, April 30 in Arabi and Chalmette, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Thomas Ketchum, 21, of the 3400 block of Second Street in New Orleans, for two counts of business burglary.

Ketchum, who has been identified through video surveillance, and four other suspects, believed to be young black males, are seen on video burglarizing a business on Judge Perez Drive in Arabi and another on Paris Road in Chalmette between midnight and 4 a.m. on April 30.

Sheriff Pohlmann said no one was injured in the incidents.

The Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the public in locating Ketchum, and locating and identifying the four other suspects involved.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Ketchum, the identities and whereabouts of the four other suspects, or further information regarding these incidents is asked to call the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office at (504) 271-2501 or Crimestoppers GNO at (504) 822-1111. Tipsters who call Crimestoppers can remain anonymous, do not have to testify and could be eligible for a cash reward.
