The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a 13-year-old Meraux teen who was reported missing by her family April 3.

Sheriff James Pohlmann said Keiyira Barton left her home on the afternoon of April 3 in the 2400 block of Walkers Lane, and has not returned home or been heard from since.

Keiyira, who family members say has a history of running away from home, was last seen heading southbound on Walkers Lane toward East St. Bernard Highway. At the time, Keiyira was wearing gray pants with holes and a green spaghetti strap shirt.

Keiyira is 5’4” tall and weighs about 140 pounds.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Keiyira Barton is asked to contact the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office at (504) 271-2501 or Detective Jessie Gernados at (504) 278-7765.
