St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office on patrol monitoring roadways in the aftermath of Hurricane Zeta

The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office has extra manpower on patrol today monitoring roadways and handling traffic control throughout the parish due to issues caused by Hurricane Zeta, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.

The Sheriff urges residents to use extreme caution when traveling on parish roadways. Some roads may be impassable due to poles and trees being down and debris strewn throughout. Residents are asked to be careful around downed power lines, and report them to parish government so they can be removed safely and without injury.
